If
you are like most people you have Dreams. Ideas. Goals.
Things that you have always told yourself you will do – lose
weight, change careers, learn a language – yet these dreams,
ideas, and goals have never materialized. Do you know why?
Have you
ever had an interest in something and asked someone how
to succeed in that area? Maybe you wanted some step by
step advice on how to lose weight and get rid of fat.
Maybe you needed some advice on how to make more money
and achieve financial freedom.
So you
found someone whom you admired and who had already met
the goals you are striving for; someone who truly had
the right answers. Does this sound familiar? This person
gave you all the right answers and the step by step
instructions to get the results you were looking for,
yet you never took action and followed through with
those steps. You know exactly what I am talking about,
don’t you?
I’m sure
you’ve discovered, like me, that when things are going
great it’s easy to take action. The challenge comes into
play when the chips are falling.
I
understand the frustration of wanting to succeed at
something so bad that you can taste it. At the same time
you may find it very difficult to follow through even
when the steps are given to you. Sometimes the simplest
of follow through steps or actions needed to succeed are
never completed.
When I was
younger I had a hard time following through on my ideas.
The most frustrating part of this was being unable to
determine why I was having trouble – which in turn made
it even more frustrating!
When this
happens, you may become frustrated and thoughts of
quitting or not succeeding fill your head. You feel
depressed and bummed out for reasons you may not
understand. I know you know what that’s like.
From there
it only gets worse. If you don’t understand why you are
depressed or upset, how can you possibly fix it?
Likewise, if you do not know the reason you are not
following through on your goals how can you fix the
problem? YOU CAN’T! You’ll find yourself right back
where you started. It’s a vicious cycle isn’t it?
I too have
experienced the feelings of failing and finding myself
not following through on my goals. As you might already
know, I’ve had my share of ups and downs. I remember
when I was a teenager and lost the $100,000 a year
business I had started. From there I went from living in
a nice home and driving a sports car to being
divorced and living in a 28 foot travel trailer in a
matter of three months. It was painful, depressing
and humbling to say the least. And that’s just half the
story!
I
developed so many mental blocks during this time period
I just couldn’t seem to move on. I knew I had to change
my situation and wanted to do it quickly.
I
WANTED TO GET BACK ON MY FEET AND DEVELOP A PROCESS THAT
WAS AS EASY AND FAST AS POSSIBLE. I want to share
with you the tools that I have developed to make this
all a reality.
Here are
some of the areas in my life that I set out to master
and I believe you will also want to conquer these
personal challenges:
• Clearly
determine what was preventing my consistent action and
why.
•
Consistently move ahead towards my goals regardless of
the obstacles that may arise. This was specifically
pertinent when the challenge was a high priority on my
list of things to master.
• Prevent
the tremendous excitement I felt when first starting a
project from fading away.
• Develop
simple and easy ways to create drive and enthusiasm that
I might have lost due to all of my past negative
experiences.
After
learning all of these great tools that enabled me to
take action and achieve my goals I realized that these
processes did not just apply to me – they are universal!
When I was asked to help a worldwide company create a
program that would assist their team on following
through with anything in their personal or professional
lives, I knew that these very successful tools would
make a huge impact. Mastering the Art of Follow Through
was born.
This
program was completed by holding conference calls for a
12-week period. Individuals from France, Ireland,
England, Australia, New Zealand, USA and many other
parts of the world called in to be part of the program.
I offered some participants the opportunity to work with
me on a one-on-one basis after many of the sessions.
These individuals were able to ask very specific
questions with the opportunity for me to offer a
customized answer for each. You will find that their
questions will be very similar to yours and the answers
extremely beneficial.

Before we set goals we must first learn to identify any
thought or pattern that may slow us down. Here are only a
few samples of what to expect in CD 1.

• Use
my simple evaluation process that will enable you to
clearly identify what specifically holds you back as you
work toward your goals. Later in the program I will show
you how to break through them.
• Learn
how to identify the price that you will have to pay to
succeed.
• Learn
simple ways to identify and stop the patterns that
quickly get you off course.
This
session lays the ground work for the rest of the
program.

Beginning with session 2, you will
review each evaluation question from the previous session to
see how well you did and determine your strengths are
weaknesses. Session 2’s first evaluation is “How much of
a Never Give Up attitude do I possess?” Next I will start
showing you how passion will play a role in your success.
At times,
we all may get the feeling of wanting to quit. In this
segment I will teach you some specific strategies on how
to overcome these feelings. You’ll begin to identify
ways to create a hunger to perform at your highest level
while enjoying it.

Session 3
continues assisting you to identify your passions. Do you
know how to identify your passions? Our passions are
like a fire. If they are not fueled they will go out. In
this session, you will learn to identify your passions and
more importantly how to keep them lit.
Once you
know what your passions are and how to fuel them you can
keep the fire continually burning, enabling you to
maintain a follow through attitude until your goal is
accomplished. When you put these simple techniques to
use you will begin to feel instantly recharged and
fulfilled.
Some feel
that having huge visions for our future success is not
being realistic. The question is do you know how to
think big correctly. If you don’t these thoughts can
become a dangerous set back to your success. Thinking
big or having huge visions can do more damage than good.
You can easily become overwhelmed and lose motivation.
Plan to
learn if you have a balanced view of failure and if not
how to transform it. The speed at which you recover from
failure is based primarily on one main thing. This is
discussed and taught to you in great detail in this
session.

Staying
focused and on track is a must in attaining our goals.
In this session you will look back on your evaluation and
see how focused you really are. You’ll learn and develop
techniques that will keep you very focused and on track of
whatever you goals are.

Many
people realize that an important ingredient to
succeeding at anything is to have a strong reason why
you must succeed. I often find that people don’t fully
understand the concept of having an appropriate ‘why’.
Anyone who sets a goal can tell you why they want to
succeed. Although most people fail to achieve their
goals, they originally began with what they felt were
strong reasons as to why they wanted to succeed. This
may have happened to you as well. It takes more than
just having a ‘why’! Listen as I set things straight
about the misconception of the myths surrounding the
famous ‘why’. A deeper understanding of this concept can
instantly move you to make dramatic change in your areas
of focus.
Instant
gratification will keep you from attaining your
long-term goals and visions. In this session you will
learn how to delay instant gratification in order to
successfully follow your path to achieve long term
goals. You will also overcome the sensation of feeling
as though you are missing out or deprived.

If we are
easily controlled by external stimuli we will be very
wishy-washy in our results. This is better known as the
yo-yo syndrome. You start something, and then stop - back
and forth, back and forth. You’ll learn to master the most
effective way to prevent this from happening by not letting
“other people or things rent space in your head.”
In this
session you’ll learn to identify the thoughts or
circumstances that may cause you to be susceptible to
being controlled by external stimuli. Next, I will share
with you many ways to strengthen your thought process
and maintain your new mindset that will truly make you
mentally unstoppable.

Developing
a healthy view of oneself is vital for a happy and
successful life. If we haven’t created the proper
perceptions we’ll consistently feel that we have to be
accepted by other people.
In this
session you’ll learn the techniques that I have
developed to handle incredible amounts of rejection. One
of my goals in this session is to identify the specific
core reasons we get these feelings of rejection and more
importantly learn how to control thoughts in order to
manage negative feelings.

Each of us is the sum total of our
life experiences. Some are bad and others are good! At
times, if we are not careful, we tend to only focus on the
negative aspects of our lives. It is almost natural to feel
this way.
If
we’ve had numerous negative experiences in our lives, like I have,
it may be very easy to allow our past to prevent and slow us down
from attaining our goals. If we don’t take the time to identify
these matters and learn to resolve them, we will find it very
difficult to move forward or take ourselves to the next level. This
is a subject I will focus on in great detail during this power
packed session.
You
will actually learn how to identify what is good mental conditioning
and what is bad. I will teach you how to develop the good
conditioning and discard what is negative. This is a very in-depth
session on creating the mindset of moving beyond our past.

I am a firm
believer in the importance of helping other people. How and
what you do to help others makes a difference on how
fulfilled you feel. You learn what it takes to make your
life more fulfilling just by applying a few simple ideas
that I share with you in this session.
It’s important
to fill your water source before you fill the cup of others. Session 8
discusses the importance of creating a balance in your life where you can
take time for yourself so that you can feel refreshed enough to help others.
You’ll identify specific ways to do this, which will continue to add to your
personal happiness. These are ideas that once applied you can enjoy
immediate results. You won’t believe how easy they are!
Communication
skills are vital to have as well. I will share with you my personal thoughts
on what it takes to be a strong communicator so that people not only hear
what you have to say, but truly understand what you are saying and more
importantly take action based on your message or ideas.
Session

Some
people, when working toward their goals, may begin to feel
uncomfortable with their success. The next step for many
is to self-sabotage their success whether it is large or
small. They may ruin everything that they’ve worked for
because they may feel they no longer deserve it. The
principle of why this happens and how to control it is
covered in this session..
I am also
going to share with you how to determine if you have self destructive
patterns that could presently or in the future hold you back or cause you to
harm whatever level of success or achievement you’ve attained. I think you
would agree that the last thing that you would want to do is be unaware of
these patterns and then cave as you become more successful. That would be a
great waste as well as very demoralizing.
I am going to
share with you the danger of setting goals based on emotions. Do you set
goals that are based on why? How do you know? This is exactly what you will
discover how to do this session.
Though emotion
should play some sort of a role in attaining our goals, our motivation level
will soon decline quickly if it’s not coupled with some other key
ingredients. Haven’t you had this happen to you before? You get all excited
about losing your weight or starting a new project or idea and then you just
seem to fizzle out as quickly as you started. It used to happen to me. I am
going to go into detail about what other key ingredients must be included
with emotions and how to take advantage of them in order to be emotionally
consistent toward your goals.

Perhaps the number
one factor that slows us down or stops us from attaining our goals
is FEAR. Whether it is fear of rejection, fear of failure, or
fear of success. These fears must be controlled if we are to be
effective at making our goals a reality. I am going to go over some
specific step-by-step ways on how to accomplish this. In this
session, I will share my four-step process as I apply it to handling
the fear of success. This process can also be used to master other
fears in your life that you want more control over.
